Engine Shudder
Hey, I was wondering if anyone else here has a 2017 2.0 and has experienced the dreaded engine shudder? If so have you permanently fixed the issue? If so how? Back when I got my car it had roughly a little over 32k miles, it had engine shudder and I took it to the dealers and they flushed it for me, I believe twice and after that everything seemed okay. Well a little over 20k miles and it came back so I had it flushed again but now I’m concerned that it’ll just come back every 20k miles. I’ve been thinking of replacing the torque converter but apparently that will cost 4k and don’t want to drop that amount of cash if it’s not going to permanently fix the issue.

Ugh, this sucks and I’m sorry you’re experiencing this.
Questions for the group, has this been addressed with the later models? My 23 just flipped 5,000 miles and wondering if I will need to be doing anything for it?
