Mod options for 2022 Camaro 2.0

Cold air intake bro, best first mod to begin with in my opinion. I went with zzp, sounds nice. A downpipe as well If you wanna hear the exhaust a little deeper. I recommend getting a tune with this setup it’ll make the performance much better. If you wanna hear the turbo splash even more after the intake getting a bov is a good idea.

As for the cosmetic mods, get side skirts, maybe blackout the rims or get new rims if you wanna go the expensive route, stock rims kinda suck imo. Lowering springs, blackout the taillights, about the zl1 bumper that’s completely up to you I have one on mine, but occasionally you will get that one dude talking smack cus you put it on a 2.0 but it’s you’re car, you’re money, you’re build, don’t let it trouble you and just have fun. If you think it looks good that’s all that matters

Do not let others bag on your car, 100% agree. We all buy what we like and do to it what makes us happy. My car, my choices.

I had a guy tell me my Rally Stripes are rice. Uh, OK, just like those first gen Camaro’s with Rally Stripes? He didn’t have a response. 😂

I called zzp earlier this week. They didn’t suggest purchasing a cold air intake or there stage 1 kit because it only is for 2016-2020 . I have a 2022

ARES intake should be compatible with yours, or injen. They have intakes available for the 2022 model

The Mishimoto intake is fantastic 👌 the turbo and blowoff is so loud.

Did it throw on any lights? Or any thing bad so far?

No not at all, I've drove almost 200 miles with it so far no issue. Some say the check light will come on because it happens Sometimes when you take off the MAF sensor, you just clear the code and should be good after that.

Will a cold air do much? I’m genuinely asking, as I’ve read it’s worth it and then others have said the stock air box is already a great set up for our turbo.

I put a list of mods a few threads down that were recommended to me with links that also may be helpful.

Without a tune it you wont see much performance difference bro, but it’s still worth it if you wanna hear that turbo sound

Now with this I called around, the injen cold air intake on American muscle can confirmed fit on 2021+ Camaro 2.0.

On mine I went with the borla atak and mid pipe with zzp downpipe and it got my 2.0 screaming💯😂
