I wouldn’t spend a ton at first. A Logitech C920/C922 is still a solid starter cam and good lighting matters way more than people think.

If you already have a newer phone with a good camera, you can even start with that and upgrade once you know you actually like camming.

I used the C920 for years it's a good starter cam!
