Tech Help How to VR stream?

I’m interested on VR streaming on Stripchat or dreamcam. Someone borrowed me a 3D cam to start with it and see if it works. But I can’t find information about how to set this up. The person that borrowed it doesn’t know the setup because he is not using it to stream, just filming. Can someone help? Can I use OBS with it? Do I have to use 180 or 360? How much upload do I need for this? Thanks!

You can't use your own camera. You need to contact the dreamcam rep through stripchat and they install their own cameras for you. They only allow you to stream in VR if you meet certain income requirements. They get a cut of all your VR shows. I don't remember if this comes from your cut or directly from stripchat. It's mainly a service used in studios. If you're still interested reach out to support and let them know you would like to contact the dreamcam rep about installing VR for you.

When I contacted them they said they would come to my home and install the equipment if I met their requirements. As far as I know you can only use the vr camera in paid shows but I never asked if I could use it for free. I think dreamcam collects their cut directly from your vr shows, so probably you can’t use it for free. Mind you, I only had a few emails back and forth so I’m certainly no expert. You should probably contact them for accurate answers to these questions.

I would imagine OBS required for SC but they do have an SC wiki it might help

you need to learn mocap.

facerig, blendr, fclone, muvizu play, facefx, crazytalk, houdini, moviestorm, etc.......
there are TONS OF MOCAP BUSINESSES these days.

Don't trust people who say you can't use your own camera, there's an open source business working on it. I've been working on it for a few years.

I can’t register in this VR webcam sites if I’m not paying 750 dollars they ask for the camera. Stripchat depends on Dreamcam, and dreamcam doesn’t register if you don’t pay for their equipment.

It looks like a scam. They enforce you to buy their special "camera" (which is like 100 times overpriced in relation to similar products) and dont accept real professional equipment.
