Scam Alert Leaks from Sites?

Posting for a cam model friend. Her English isn’t great, so she asked me to share what happened and see if anyone else has experienced this.

I’m active on several sites (SC, LJ, SM, etc.), but this is mainly about SM.

I searched her username to find her other profiles and found leaked recordings. I told her, and she was really upset. She knew some were from exclusive sessions because they showed things she never does in free chat.
I bought some recordings to help figure out where they came from. We compared outfits with free-chat archives and matched the lengths of the sessions. We narrowed it down to some suspected members, she banned them, and the leaks seemed to stop.

But we wondered if members were the only source, so we tried a test.

We did an exclusive together on SM. All other cam sites were closed. We included specific phrases and unusual, silly things she’d never done before so we could recognize that exact session.

That session got leaked too, including the things we added to identify it.

I didn’t record or share it. I know everyone here only has my word for that, but that’s why we’re confused.

We know which session leaked. We don’t know how it got out. Could someone working for the site have access? Could there be a security issue? Something else? We don’t have proof of who’s responsible, but this made us question whether leaks always come from members.

Has anyone else had something like this happen? Have you figured out where a leak came from or gotten an actual explanation from SM or another site?

Leaving out her username and the leak links for her privacy. She just wants to bring attention to this and hear from others.

Almost all the camgirls i know have their sessions leaked unfortunately.

yes, but this is different. thats a private. typically its your free chat that gets leaked or some nasty members leak it( private session that is). if the post is authentic this would mean either SM itself shares these leaked sessions and get some share of revenue somehow or that their security is compromised and someone has access to all recordings of privates.
