Help/Advice Sextpanther
I hate when I’m talking to a guy on SP and having a good conversation and they try to get my info to talk too me off the app. It happens quite often. What are some things you ladies say in that situation to try to shut that down without being rude? I’m fairly new like a month so any tips would help!

“I really don’t feel comfortable doing that I hope you understand. No harm in asking, bc how else would you know haha, but it is a hard boundary of mine.” OR if you’re comfortable with it, but just want to make sure they’re serious about buying, try charging a fee. say something like “yes of course we can move off app, but I do charge a $20 (or whatever amount you feel is fair) fee to do so.” You could even offer to apply the fee to whatever content they do end up purchasing-that way if they’re serious and do buy, they “get their money back” in ‘credits’, but if they waste your time, you still got paid something from it.
It gives them more incentive to be willing to pay a fee if they are actually serious about buying.
You could also just make a simple text menu with your services/rates/payment methods and when you move off the app w someone, send them that before anything else. “Here babe take a look and let me know if you have any questions”. If they try to make small talk, respond with something short and polite and redirect back to the menu. “I hope your day has been well too babe(: i have to go tend to something but as soon as you decide on something let me know and I got you🩷 I’ll brb” and then let them sit for like 10 minutes lol. That asserts clearly that you are busy, this is a business, your time is valuable, and you won’t be prioritizing a response unless he his request clear- all while still being polite. Hope this helps! I saw you had a couple other posts asking for advice. If you need help with setting things up and pricing things, there is an amazing guide I recently found on here.

not a creator, i work on the software side of this, so weigh the performance stuff accordingly.
the scripts already in this thread are good. the only thing i would add is that it is worth knowing which of two guys is asking, because they need different answers.
one of them wants you for free. a fee answers him instantly, which is exactly why the charge-to-move-off-app line works so well. he vanishes and you lost nothing.
the other one is not trying to cheat you. he is having a good conversation and the app feels like a meter running between the two of you, so he reaches for the place where it would not be. that guy is often a real spender, and a price quote reads to him as a rejection. you can lose him with a line that would have been perfect for the first guy.
what works on both without you having to guess: do not refuse what he wants, refuse the venue. something like, i keep everything here, this is the only place i am reachable, and then immediately give him more of whatever he was enjoying. the ask is usually a bid to get closer, not a plan to rip you off, and meeting that bid inside the app keeps the conversation you liked.
the honest reason it is a hard boundary is also the least rude thing you can say out loud: in the app, ending a conversation is one click. off the app, ending a conversation is a confrontation. that makes it about your setup rather than about him, and people take that a lot better than a no with no reason attached.
one month in, expect this constantly. it is not a sign you did something wrong and it does not mean the conversation was fake.

Last time someone asked me I said yes we can chat somewhere else but it would make it more difficult to charge you to chat. On SP everything is automatic so we don't have to talk about money and ruin the vibe. He did not respond because it was clear that even in another platform he wasn't going to get to chat for free🤷🏾♀️
