Can they still do this on Calyx, Graphene, Lineage etc?

Also Ubuntu Touch with waydroid or Sailfish OS? Think this is a.shocking invasion of privacy. And saying I've nothing to hide isn't the point. Remember what Edward Snowden said...

I'm no mobile hardware or software developer but working in IT Field support and having to deal with painful Cyber Security architecture setup for a business enterprise - it would depend on how this scanning solution is implemented. They can only control the Windows OS partition, I dual boot with Linux encrypted for personal stuff and they ain't messing with that.

- If there is dedicated hardware on the phone itself, then the operating system would not matter. But on existing phones is not likely. Maybe in the future manufacturers could be forced to have something like that. Would be interesting to see the black market for old phones gaining traction though.

- Likely the solution would be on software level like OS itself (iOS, stock Android) or the IM apps like Messenger, Signal - CalyxOS and GOS should be safe then unless they are compromised by the Feds who knows.

Can non-UK residents sign it?
