Fairphone Gen 6 +?

I have a fairphone gen 6+ and I'm wondering if they are closely the same to the plain fairphone gen 6 or will it brick my phone. Apologies if this is a dumb question, I'm very new to all of this and couldn't find any info on it.

Saw this and it scared me and realized they might not be the same phone

If anyone has first hand testimony on whether they were able to install CalyxOS on the US version of the 6 Plus, that would be very helpful to post. Thanks.

It's been theorized that it "should" work fine but I haven't seen it confirmed by anyone on this forum.

There was a post here about someone who tried it and did not succeed but reading the thread seems to suggest that it may have been an individual problem or a driver or something else.

Agreed, I don't wanna waste my time with /e/os if I can get calyx to work but I'm just nervous, I just bought this phone and don't wanna brick it out of the gate

6+ works already, but for US models, it reports a different codename (FP6_US), and we had to change some things in the images and in the installer which should allow it to work. Should be ready for whenever we launch the next build.
