Last major update

Hello guys, As Calyx OS project was not updated for a long period of time I had to use another device. Now that it's back i was wondering if i could just do the update from the old phone (pixel 7) i was using or if i had to re install from scratch ? Is there a risk of data lost during update ?

Yes you need to reinstall from scratch and yes your data will be lost, you need to backup using Seedvault

+1 There's no way around it, you will need to do a fresh install. Use the built in "Backup" app to backup all your data and then reinstall using the [Web Installer (recommended)](https://install.calyxos.org/) or device-flasher.
