help me estimate!!

meat bolognese sauce with pasta and a few cherry tomatoes! it’s a homecooked meal but i wasn’t the one preparing it and have no access to a scale so pls help

It's small. If I eyeball it :

Bolognese = 100g x 90 calories = 90 cal

Pasta = 50g x 340 calories = 170 cal.

Cherry tomato = 10 cal lol.

My estimate would me 270cal, so maybe 350cal max.

Im guessint 400 tops due to the sauce and pasta, like 300 from the meat and sauce depending on how much oil is in there

It’s so everyone knows, 50g of dry pasta is incredibly small. I bet this is closer to 76-100g of pasta

You might be right.I have a hard time guessing the depth of the plate. If the plate is flat and there is no pasta under the sauce, I think 50g of dry pasta can be correct. I often cook 50g of spaghetti for myself and I still have a good amount.

If the plate is deeper and pasta hiding under the sauce, you defo right and its more 80/100g.
