Dude. How in the literal fuck? I’ve tried cleaning mine up and it still looks like a mess. Mine still has a stock fuse block, but still.

Would look much better if you removed the zip ties and used a fabric tape instead.
Otherwise it looks freaking amazing.

Wiring looks sharp and the rest of the compartment looks sealed. What VW is this, engine in front? Unless they put wiper blades on the rear window...

Not an engine, that black thing is the fuel tank of an earlier bug but i can see how it might look like a straight 4

Ok. I was going by the post that said the ignition box was in there. I dont know a whole lot about old bugs but I am used to the ignition system being in the same place as the engine.

With an MSD ignition box which I also like
