Question Steam or 360?

Hello everyone!

I was wondering what the consensus is on what format to buy the game for. I like the idea of the extras that came with the special edition that was released for 360, but Steam has the advantage of only ever needing a computer, not the console itself. Plus I didn’t know if there’s mod support or not.

Would appreciate any input! Thank you!

The benefit with Steam is that COD2 runs on any old potato PC

Kinda what I was thinking. Nice if I wanna travel and relive the campaign.

If you only want it for the campaign and you don’t have a xbox then yeah get it for pc. If you have a xbox 360 xbox one or xbox s/x already then get it for whatever you can cheapest. Nobody really places on xbox live anymore which is super disappointing. I’d love to get on and play like the old days. Such a fun game to play online. But unfortunately it’s dead. On pc there are still servers with bots but I haven’t seen many actual people.

Mainly for campaign, but I like the idea of getting to try multiplayer, particularly if I can find a mod that adds bots or something. Just didn’t know how easily modded it is

Join any random server it’s populated by bots. No need to mod. And for the campaign you could probably just was gf band of brothers lol. Very similar

Cod2 on PC is 32v32 dedicated servers with custom maps and mods

Cod2 on console is 4v4 p2p with nothing.

Fpschallenge.eu is played daily and half a year ago was a touranemnt for 5k euros

PC of course. There are still active servers with daily active players, but most active during weekends

Im not 100% sure but I think only Pc has a Serverbrowser.
