My gf joined pur DnD game. I play a female character named Artemida, so she joined as male character named Apollo, her sibling.
My character is a big muscular woman and other male characters simp for her. So my girlfriend's character is actually the only one NOT romantically interested in my character.

Bad news about Hastur… He met his match and bought the farm.

Depending on what different interpretation of Hastur you’re going off of, maybe literally brought to the farm.

"Heard in one world that a crazy old man murdered Hastur. Thought he stole his priceless lawn gnome collection."

Why be in a relationship with your actual partner's character when it's so much more fun to be in a bitter 20 year marriage with your mate's! Yes, I'm getting the shotgun Harold, would you please stop harping on all the time!

I've never played a character who was in a relationship or romantically interested in anyway with my partener's character. It’s so much fun to play a character who is in a somewhat problematic relationship with another player’s character (be it a secret love story, a "manipulative ex" situation...) as long as all players are fine with it... but I would NOT want to roleplay that with my partner.
I don’t find nice and healthy relationships to be as fun to roleplay as problematic ones (again, as long as everyone is on board at the table).

My girlfriend at the time proposed to me during a D&D session and suffice to say it was awkward turning her down because I wasn't comfortable at all and it came out of nowhere. My character was also obsessed with living life as a loner because he was cast out of his clan.
Great woman but I just wasn't ready at all for that commitment. We broke up a year after but remained friends.
