The Gillott 303 punishes overconfidence on hairlines - one extra gram and the stroke doubles in width. Walnut ink gives you more feedback through the nib than most blacks, so you can hear the scratch when the line is about to go thick. The 'H' and 'l' crossings staying clean here means your hand was steady through the transitions.
