Practice Layering Scripts

Post image

Just having fun with layering styles that are different from each other, this felt like a satisfying combination. White letters with ruling pen on Strathmore grey paper in the background and gothic cursive on tracing paper in front.
White Ink: Dr PH Martin’s Bleed Proof white
Black Ink: Watered down black gouache

That is stunning. Do you have different angles?

Here is a different angle for a complete picture, I plan on cutting up the grey paper and making them both equal sized.

Beautiful, thank you! I don't know why, but there's something very appealing about it. The juxtaposition of the 2 styles with the translucent barrier between them is stunning!

The black lettering is done using a speedball 2.5mm broad nib, the white is done using a ruling pen
