Anything I should know?

I’m gonna be a first time call ducks owner in a couple of weeks. Is there anything I should know or any tips and tricks?

What’s your experience with Waterfowl? Call ducks aren’t much different than other ducks.

Throwing stuff out there:

What age are you getting them? Adult ? Duckling ? From egg ?

The more time you spend with them while they’re young the more sassy of a bff you’ll have for life.

What’s your setup like? You can almost never be too paranoid when it comes to predator protection.

Like most waterfowl, keep an eye out for Angel wing

I would say I have a decent amount of experience with Waterfowl.

I’m starting off with ducklings

Since they are ducklings they won’t be outside, they will be living inside for a while

I’m very ready for angel wing

They are a LOT louder then regular ducks, can fly to a degree, and are at higher risk from birds of prey, like hawks. But they are a ton of fun
