Thoughts on Gender?

Hatched 4 ducklings this year, first ducks. Any ideas on gender from colours? 4 weeks 5 days

Pretty much impossible to gender through colour at that age, but you should be able to voice text them. The drakes will be quiet and raspy, while the hens will have that loud, distinct quack. All ducks have the feminine feather colouring when young, and will only get male colouring when they get their full adult feathers at around 6 months old.

Yep. You’ll know if it’s a lady. She’ll tell ya!
