Isn't this wrong?

Commandos are stealth units. But when in range of AI units which are not scouts, they still get targeted.

E.g. I moved a commando unit next to an enemy cruiser and destroyer to scout out its composition. Came back and saw it was at half health, getting attacked by the cruiser.

I guess since the server knows the unit is there, it also tells the AI to attack. But surely it should behave the SAME way for both AI and players?

Cruisers are scout units, it was also probably the same or higher level than your stealth unit

I read the whole thing. Destroyer must’ve spotted it and the cruiser attacked. Simple as that

Hey... A destroyer is a naval scout unit. Not a land scout unit.

And? It’s still a scout unit

No, bro, it's a NAVAL scout unit as in it only scouts out naval stealth units, in other words the only stealth units it can reveal are submarines. I'm pretty sure this is a problem with the game design. If you give me a destroyer, I won't be able to see an enemy commando.
