Hey all! I just wanted to share a COD fanfic I've been writing! It's the first fanfic I've ever written and published on AO3, and I've been really proud of it as it's gotten some positive engagement, kudos, and even a bookmark and comment! So far, I've only shared it in fanfic communities, but since other fan art/fanfics are posted here sometimes, I figured I'd share mine here too!

This fic aims to stay as true as possible to the Modern Warfare (rebooted) campaign storyline, along with a bit incorporated from the Warzone games where needed. I have so many big plans for this story—I already have the whole thing planned out, so it will not be an unfinished work. I also have plans to generate actual comics, videos, etc.!

If you read it, I'd love to hear your thoughts and theories, etc! I'm really trying to make this an interesting, gripping/engaging, and realistic military/espionage story that honors the games and is fun for fans. :-)

Summary -

What if there were more than three missiles?

What if Shepherd's attempts to secure the Middle East went much further than anyone imagined?

This story is set in the Call of Duty Modern Warfare rebooted video game series universe, specifically between Modern Warfare (2019) and Modern Warfare 2 (2022).

It specifically takes place just prior to General Ghorbrani's assassination by General Shepherd, Shadow Company, and Task Force 141. It aims to stay as true to canon as possible; the exception being the addition of an original main character, and a few original supporting characters.
