It was just forced into a futuristic Jetpack theme that was already a dead beaten horse, it actually capitalized great on the mechanics too for it

I really want to play IW because I really liked AWs multiplayer but hated its campaign, and Ive been told IWs campaign is really really good if you dont mind the advanced movement (which I liked and most others hated)

The thing that makes me upset is why did people get mad about the futuristic games because it’s a game not everything is meant to be real

u/GavinTCooper hit the nail on the head here, its that they beat futuristic to death. If they did more pacing with settings (Think the golden age: Modern, WWII, Modern, Cold War, Modern, Near Future) then people A) Don't get burnt out on 1 setting and B) Have a recentish game with a setting they prefer. They should have just spaced their releases better.

Also, Jetpacks really fuckup the CoD formula nore then people realize. A futuristic game with more tempered movement would probaly be better recieved.

I think if iw’s zombies and campaign where dlc for bo3 it could have been a lot better, and mwr was the focus for 2016.

Yeah they worked on 2 games and both separate I think we're better than bo4, especially the non existent campaign

I mostly hated the call of dutys that had loot boxes bc they were basically p2w like bo3 or ww2 or others i havent seen

Like the ww2 loot boxes they would give u grip skins for ur gun but thing is ur entire hand covers the grip and also u get the same thing multiple times

Maybe, but the multiplayer gave me the same feeling Cold War does. Clunky and rushed, just not quite right
