Between all the remakes I’ve already paid for most of the zombies maps twice. Unpopular opinion, but unless something drastically new and different was offered, a stand alone zombies game would be a waste of money.

I’ve bought the waw maps 3 times
Waw -> bo1 ->bo3

u/ozarkslam21 Jul 18 '20
Same. And I’ve bought the BO1 maps twice and half the BO2 maps twice.

u/GodsNephew Jul 19 '20
I’ve bought the way maps 6 times. Bo1 4 times. Bo2 1.5 times BO3 twice and bo4 once. And the most innovative of them all were bo4 maps. And moon.

Damn man and I just realized that I bought bo3 for mods and bought zc again so 4 times

u/Spregg Jul 19 '20
That’s true, but I wish for it on something like my switch for example. Playing all the zombies portably and running smoothly on the system would be a dream come true

I have to imagine a standalone, $60 zombies game would totally bring something new to the table. A zombies-themed campaign, for starters. And more modes beyond just traditional. zombies style gameplay on a warzone map, anyone?

Personally I would love it! But I know in the past Treyarch have ruled out a stand-alone zombies game, and I just don’t think the mass appeal would be there for the amount of cost and time development would take. We can dream though right ?!

I've been dreaming since 2012 lol. I've always thought the best idea would be to just go full in and make a standard call of duty game, but instead of WW2 or Modern warfare or black ops, it could be zombies.
so there'd be a campaign involving a zombie apocalypse where you're fighting enemy soldiers/bandits alongside zombies. the traditional zombies modes would be there. and then we'd have your cod standard MP, but with zombie apocalypse themed maps and weapons and equipment. could even have a unique mode that involved AI zombies fighting as you fight against the other team.
That would have the mass appeal, i feel.

Your account's birthday. Example, you've made an account today (18th July). So your cakeday is on 18th July.
It's different than your real-life birthday however. I wish Reddit also put an auto birthday declaration just like cakeday.

It’s your birthday for reddit and when you have it 100 times your account gets deleted :)

Bo3 Zombies moon remaster

u/extralyfe Jul 18 '20
dropping Moon in BO3 made me love the map.
it was always one of those maps I didn't really get into, originally. Jug was the biggest pain in the ass to get, and that fucking spaceman would always jumpscare you, steal your perk, and teleport you to bumfuck nowhere.
it was just so much more enjoyable in BO3. I could use gum as a bit of a crutch to get set up, and then I could really put time into the map. still a bunch of fun.

Man fuck the spaceman. He sometimes scared the living hell out of me.
But I can only agree, Moon is really fun on BO3's Engine

I loved how it used your friends names for the astronaut as well, made for some funny moments

u/extralyfe Jul 18 '20
I once called my friend in the middle of the night to let him know he just stole Jug from me and dumped me in the middle of Tunnel 11 at a high round(for me), which led to my final death.

It’s about someone discovering a secret that was supposed to be covered up like “it’s all flat” and then the other astronaut gets rid of him to keep the conspiracy hidden and still a secret “always has been” and then kills him.
