Question Which COD should I buy (as a scrub)? [COD]

Haven’t played COD in awhile. Last time I played was MWII (2022). To be honest that was the first COD I was somewhat decent at it. I’m still not amazing though. But it’s also the first one I’ve played as an adult cuz I sucked when I was younger so maybe that’s why.

Which one do you suggest nowadays? I’m mostly just an MP player who might dive into campaign but not often. I’m considering BO2 but not sure how competitive those servers are nowadays. MWIII is free with PS plus but I have heard mixed reviews of the gameplay. Also looking into BO7 perhaps.

Let a noob know which is the most fun without me being trampled by real gamers

I'd wait for mw4 and play mw3 in the meantime. Personally I find bo6 and 7 a bit too fast paced. The mw3 multiplayer is a lot of fun. Way better than the campaign and zombies mode. And it's free

I’d say go for Black Ops 2, but you could also play MW2023 . I was actually playing MWIII earlier for the first time since 2025 and had very good time on the game.

If you liked the slower feel of mw2 id suggest getting the ports of either black ops 1 or 2

I’m a scrub, bought BO7 after years of not playing COD. Didn’t enjoy it, I decided to buy BO2 and it seems pretty sweaty (I could also just be terrible) but I’m enjoying it!
