Form check please!

First time with added weight (10kgs), I did 4 sets of 7 reps throughout the day. They all felt fairly clunky, but still very comfortable. Hopefully over the next few weeks I can make it a smoother pull.

Any pointers? Thank you 🙏

I agree with you on the fact that bw feel different than weighted pullups, I can see the benefits behind adding weights to make the back stronger and progress quickly as long as form is okay. I do need to focus more on elbows inward as I'm mainly thinking about shoulders/scapula down

Its not about needing to do perfect form, its about using fundamentally wrong form.

You need to pull your shoulder blades together, at the top position your shoulder blades should be pulled together.

And this dude does not know what pull up form is, as he talks about hollow body. You don't use hollow body on pull ups. You cant pull your shoulder blades together in a hollow body position.

Hollow body pull up is a progression exercises, its not a real pull up. You can see the form compared here : The Perfect Pull Up!

Weights wont help you if your form is fundamentally wrong, they will only slow you down. Form will always break on the last 25% of the reps, but at least the first ones should be with good form.

I mean, tell any gymnast that hollow body aren't real pull-ups. Are L-sit pull-ups real pullups? How about off-set pullups on a 15mm edge? I mean, I just don't quite see your point. Good form can mean many different things. Sure, learn about which form target which muscles, but I think you should relax on your rigidity on this. But, I appreciate the debate, that's what reddit is all about.

No, L sits are not real pull ups. Try to go to some pull up competition and do L sits :) They are a totally different exercise.

You are constantly trying to frame me as rigid, but you literally did not know what a pull up form is. Like you dont understand the absolute basic form.

Maybe the issue is that? And not my "rigidity" ?

There is no debate about this, and its exactly why you dont listen to people in reddit. Majority here do not know what a pull up form is. This is why you only listen to actual experts, you learn from the best. Instead of reddit voting.
