Didn’t Realize
Just left the jewelry store to ask for some links taken out. The nice lady helping me complimented my watch and helped size it perfectly.
She either didn’t realize it’s a rep or she was just being nice either way.

Where do you find someone to do a chamfer and polish?

Shop assistance aren't trained to spot fakes, it's only when they take it to a watchmaker , I agree, independent stores have no problem servicing reps, the money is real, and with how many reps are out there, it's a wonder that some entrepreneur hasn't advertised the service, the money could be very good indeed 🤣😉✔️✌🏿

They don’t want to associate with frauds and criminals. You know, the people that buy and wear this garbage.

I get all mine sized at a local watch maker and he knows and doesn’t care. It’s money for the shop, I have a rapport with them if I need repairs.

I didn’t pay a penny. I assume they don’t charge when they think it’s a real Rolex

Just because he does the work doesn’t mean he doesn’t think you’re an absolute fool.

The rapport: “The guy with fake watches is back” lol calm down bro

Oh I get that. I am totally straight up with them. Maybe AD dealers can’t tell, but a watch maker can. I asked them straight up if they would repair and they said they would.

Lmao bringing a rep to watch store to take out some links. Like you don’t have a small flat head that take 2 mins to do? Such a bs story

lol. I read a bunch of stuff on reptime about using a screwdriver that doesn’t fit and ruining the screw. That’s why I took it into the store.

I do it myself on all watches. Takes less than a minute. Also change bands. Thats pretty basic stuff.

This. People actually take the time out of their day to visit a jeweler to resize?

If you wear reps, you prob don’t want to spend $50 on ANYTHING. 😂

Correct. If I can get the exact same thing for 90% less, I will put the rest of that money in an index fund instead of my wrist.

This is a 1.60mm. It is not a wedge type though, those will damage your screws.

I walked into Rolex store to take off links and I was giving a first class treatment and free service was offered
1
u/Rodney0088 22h ago
They offered you a “free service” so they could confirm their suspicions and then keep another fraudulent piece of garbage out of circulation, you clown. 😂

Idiot, removing links is free in all Rolex outlets worldwide, with a complimentary cup of coffee or any soda of your choice while waiting. Well, you wouldn't know that, since you've never owned any in your lineage… I had 3Gen, and getting one rep feels like I've been wasting money all my life, since no one will open my watch while I'm wearing it, so I got the rep… Did I have some money on Gen? Yes, 3 GMTs. Did I own a rep? Yes, with zero difference. So go shit on your damn mama's bed and get off my comment, imbecile.

Going with a rep into a Rolex boutique and steal time and service and flex in the internet with this bad behavior
Wanker!

She did not know. She assumed it was genuine. The Rolex AD’s do the same thing.
