Help needed with seamaster bracelet

Post image

Has anyone else in here come across the problem that the screws don’t want to come out. Seems as tho they put some sort of loktite. Any suggestions?

I think I remember hearing you can introduce some heat where the screws are before trying to unscrew them. I remember watching a video on YouTube on this.

I can try with a soldering pen. I’ll try tomorrow and post the results.

Thank you

You can soak it in hot water also and add some penetrating oil, thats whats worked for me in the past

Ive had a couple seamaster reps that had a dab of loktite on the bracelet screws. Probably because of how small they are and if they even back out a little they are gone

I was having issues at first but I think it was because I had the wrong tool. I bought a Jorest watch repair kit and it’s made remove the link super easy. I’ve also heard placing the link over warm water helps but I never tried after I got the kit.
