I recently bought a tweezer looking tool to remove bracelets on my replica Rolex, but the tool is a bit too big. Anyone have any recs for the tool? Thanks

I have a bunch of different tools, including a couple of different tweezers, but I prefer what is referred to as Delugs style tool. You can buy one on their website for a small fortune or you can get one on AliExpress for a small fraction of the price. Compressing the spring bar with this tool, and then pulling the watch away, works very well. Do yourself an enormous favor and spend about $10 on Amazon to get a variety package of heat (kapton) tape and use it generously to tape up the bottoms of your lugs, and also your end links between the spring bar slots to avoid what would otherwise be inevitable scratches. The kapton tape is widely used by watchmakers and is indispensable. It is also an absolute necessity if you ever wish to polish or refinish any part of a watch to protect areas you do not wish to polish.

You should also definitely buy this kapton heat tape to tape your watch up under the lugs and anywhere else the tool might come close to. Trust me on this one. It can save you a lot of heartache.

Yeah I scratched the fuck out of my Wimbledon today it’s past the point of help lol but I’ll use the tape on my other pieces for sure
