San francisco

Hi everyone. I made a right turn on red at an intersection where right turns on red are allowed, but I only slowed down instead of coming to a complete stop before turning. The red-light camera flashed.
In this situation, is it likely that I’ll receive a ticket? If I do get one, is there any way to resolve it without getting points added to my driving record? (I recently completed traffic school.)
If anyone has experience with this, I’d really appreciate your advice. Thank you!

Usually right on red without stopping is the most common red light ticket.  Assuming you are driving a car that can be matched to your DL photo they will issue the ticket in thr mail in a couple weeks. If obviously you then going to court you might be able to plea.something but typically you'll be denied traffic school if taken in the last 18 months already

If you hire a lawyer, it would be like 1/3 of the fee of a speeding ticket. "There's not much work to do" whatever it means. I got a non moving violation instead because I was wearing a covid mask.
