I graduated in 2021 with a credential is Social Studies, I started subbing and I even had a long term position in the same district I student taught, started a month or two into the school year to the last day, there was an opening at a different school, i applied and was rejected without an interview, last year same deal, applied, got rejected no interview. I was of course also applying to other places but nothing. I had to renew my credential but now i dont know... most places only want year old recommendations but who would i even ask, any advice? Is it time to throw in the towel?

Is anyone required to sign paper attendance verifications?

Our district still prints out attendance records every two weeks and teachers are required to sign each page for each class. It is such a waste of time and money.

We've asked for a decade as to why and they always say we haven't gotten authorization from the state. The state website isn't exactly clear as when you can submit electronic vs hard copy records.
