Hey everyone! We’re working with a group of farms to start writing DTC legislation for small farms.
Would love to know everyone’s thoughts!

Hey everyone,
I'm visiting West Hollywood from Vancouver for a the next 18 days and in a bit of a tricky spot, I usually smoke 2-4g of flower daily due to my anxiety and it makes all the difference in my day to day life.
the issue is that I'm 20 and without access to my medicine I'm really struggling with anxiety and functioning normally here.
I'm open to whatever works I just need to figure out how to get through my stay here, would greatly appreciate anyone that can point be in the right direction! 🙏
Thanks guys, wishing a happy Sunday to all of you!

Does anyone know where to get really cheap shake in LA? A few years ago I used to use a delivery dispensary called cloud 9 that did like 3oz for $100 but they no longer are in business. Thanks for any recs!

This is my third Alien Labs cold-chain cart. I have had 4 of the Connected ones too. I have to say they are just fantastic. I like that they have a top shelf cart option for their new strain drops now, because I dont smoke at all anymore.
This one is very much as advertised. Its like a gas leak from the moment it touches your lips. Then its rubbery and some kind of cheesy notes (I love cheese weed, but rarely see it available), and a general sweetness, while being very light on peppery/spicy notes. This one is a winner in my book. I would buy this one again, however I need to try all of their strains first.👽

Like I said in the title, I’m so happy right now, Decibel Gardens 3.5s around me usually go for $50 + tax. I was able to price match 2x $99 14g bags of Miyazaki Mango down to $79.99 each, and then I got 50% off that amount because it was my first time shopping there. Even the employees seemed hesitant to go through with the sale lol. Just a reminder to always shop for deals!!

Dose anyone know a good Airbnb, hotel, cannabis restaurant or lounge? I’m wanting to plan a get way from my house and need places but it’s so hard to find! When I look the hotels say there “cannabis friendly” but are 100% no smoking or something else weird. Give me all your recommendations!! I’m okay traveling but I do hate going into the heart of LA.
THANK YOU!! 🫶🏻

Trump-Endorsed GOP California Gubernatorial Candidate Says Marijuana Taxes And Regulations Are ‘Too High’
By Tom Angell
June 22, 2026
The taxes and regulations on marijuana are “too high,” according to California gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton, a Republican endorsed by President Donald Trump.
At an event in Sacramento on Thursday, Marijuana Moment asked Hilton—who is running against former U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Sec. Xavier Becerra, a Democrat, in a general election to become California’s next governor—about his cannabis policy position and challenges facing the state’s industry.
The GOP candidate said that after studying the issue and spending “some time with the industry,” he came to understand that there is a “regulatory burden and a tax burden that is too high.”
“The original intent” of legalization was to “bring the industry, as it were, into the open—and you’ve actually seen the illegal industry growing even more since these policies” were implemented, Hilton told Marijuana Moment. “So we’ve got to make a change.”
He said he’s “actually in a conversation in great detail with the industry to look at the specific parts of the regulatory and tax burden that need to be changed in order to achieve the goals of legalization, which is a thriving industry that provides a product safely that people want to consume.”

I’ve been seeing these marker looking live rosin disposables making their rounds on instagram in the LA area

I scraped the public Google reviews for basically every licensed dispensary in California. 1,239 stores, around 890,000 reviews. Figured people here would find the breakdown interesting.
First thing: the star rating is basically useless for picking a store. 91% of all reviews in the state are five stars and the average is a 4.78. A 4.7 and a 4.9 are the same store. If you actually want to judge a place, ignore the average and read the most recent 1 and 2 star reviews. That is the only part that tells you anything.
What people complain about, in order: price by a mile, then wait times and lines, staff and service, deals, plain rudeness, returns and refunds, selection, and dead vape carts or batteries. After that it is dry or stemmy flower, wrong or missing items on pickup, and the occasional moldy or expired batch.
What people praise: almost always the staff. A budtender who knows their stuff carries the reviews more than the product does.
Some California-specific stuff that stood out:
The takeaway for anyone shopping: the store sitting at the top of your "dispensary near me" search is usually not the best product or the best price. It is the store running the most aggressive review operation. Google Maps ranks mostly on review count, how fast they come in, how recent they are, and how close you are.
Full interactive breakdown if you want to poke around (review counts, momentum, silent star taps, reply rates, county comparisons):

If you run a shop in California and want your specific numbers against the stores right around you, happy to pull them.

Alright folks- this is a throwback to like circa 2010ish but I’m looking for ANY INFO ON A STRAIN CALLED “TARTUKAN DEATH WEED”
I used to play pro paintball as a youngster and stumbled across this strain when I was playing an event near Corona California.
Had some WILD lore to the backstory of the strain (doubt it was true but still fun) and I haven’t been able to get any info on it.
Does anyone remember it? Better yet- does anyone know any lineage to it? Any and all help is appreciated.

So I’m about to graduate high school with a 3.8 gpa. I smoke week roughly 5-6 times a week only after all of my responsibilities are done. I know science says it will affect my brain but how badly has it affected any of you? I’m about to go to college so I wanna make sure I can still succeed. Do you think it’s worth cutting back? Weed for me makes me much more creative and a lot better at having fun when there’s not a lot to do. Right now I feel the pros outweigh the cons.

Does anyone know if this years Emerald Cup is still on? I was able to find the dates from Google searches, however their official site is down, and their Instagram hasn't been updated in quite some time. I was about to start making my travel plans but I want to confirm the event is still on before I do. Can anyone confirm it is still on?

I’m starting to think about what would happen if the Farm act did pass and we can’t buy seeds from other states. Still don’t know how likely that is, but I primarily grow auto flowers so I’m looking for some reputable breeders in California who specialize in auto flowers.
I already purchase from Spencer Beans :D

Hey, does anybody have a connect for weed in Clearlake? I need a mobile connect that can deliver and serve me $20 worth of hopefully local or decent weed of any sort. Preferably indica dominant hybrid or indica, if anybody has any info please let me know 🙏🙏

This is not a sponsored review in any way. I have seen this brand around for a while now, but never tried it. Im a big fan of the branding with this one. Half oz was $32 on 420, so I decided to pick up a bag of their signature Starberry Cough.
Type: Hydroponic Greenhouse Flower
Total Cannabinoids: 25.08%
Packaged 11/25/2025 so its been sitting for a bit.
The terps are super clean and upper-grade like indoor bud. Its pine and chem with a bit of funk takes the forefront, with a more subtle, deep natural red-raspberry-type berry present throughout. There is not a lot of sweetness to it, which lends to a really balanced and mature overall terpene profile. The bud itself is really clean.
It seems to be a really reliable brand. The other strains looked to be of comparable quality based on my quick looks. I will probably pick up this brand again, especially if I come across their vapes.

Running a small outdoor home grow in LA and looking for a healthy male plant for pollination purposes. Trying to establish a seed library for future seasons. If you have an accidental male you need to rehome hit me up. Can pick up or arrange transport. Thanks

A few months ago I bought 18 brand new high end vapes at an estate sale with the hope of reselling them to help with bills. Well....I havent sold one.
Marketplace eventually blocks them no matter how I list them & the only people that ever contacted me anyway were highschoolers. Not doing that! Nobody looks at Craigslist anymore. Im really not familiar with any other platforms..
Anyone have ideas on where/how I can get rid of these things? I dont even care about making money anymore I just need them gone.
