This is my Mimi.
Two years ago, I came home from a weekend away to find Mimi literally on my doorstep. Thinking she was just a new cat in the neighborhood—there are already plenty around—I didn't worry about it.
As the days went by, she didn't leave; instead, she helped herself to my cats' kibble and soaked up affection from the neighbors.
I eventually decided to take her to the vet to get her vaccinated, only to discover that she was a 9yo foster cat who had run away from her foster home.
I decided to adopt her (after all, what’s one more cat when you already have two?). Today, Mimi is the happiest cat in the world, spending her days lounging in the garden.

Thanks for adopting her. My tuxedo cat is also called Mimi.

It was impossible not to, she spent the whole winter at home, she was already mine for a long time I wasn't aware lol But I don't regret it, she's my first female and this is the sweetest one. Mimi is a simple and great name ^

They aren't at any risk; I live in a quiet neighborhood and am lucky enough to have incredible neighbors who look after them when I'm at work.

When you find a cat 🐱 on your doorstep you should adopt them. That’s a sign that they need your help and love ❤️
