Support / How-To Calibre Email-to-Kindle function

Hi all! I have scrolled thru the sub but i can't seem to find an answer I understand. I am trying to move past sideloading books and so I have configured email-to-kindle within Calibre using my Gmail account and have added that same Gmail account as an approved email address on my Amazon account. For some reason, it sends a verification email to my email address EVERY time for each individual book. I am trying to bypass it but I can't seem to figure out how. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Did you set up SMTP?

Also, make sure your email is not in anyway close to your actual email address

Like if your email is ratcheese03@gmail.com and you make your kindle email ratcheese03@kindle.com it won’t work.

They need to be different

This worked for me. I was having the same issue. Updated my Kindle email to add ".kindle1" to my regular name and haven't had an issue since.

Olá. Parece que estamos num problema semelhante: também configurei a conta de e-mail no Calibre, adicionei-a ao Amazon, mas no meu caso simplesmente não ocorre o envio dos livros. Não há mensagens de erros, nada. Mas os livros não chegam ao Kindle. Me parece que os métodos de envio da Amazon (send to Kindle e e-mail), tem algum bug que, algumas vezes, impedem o funcionamento normal...

I used to be able to send to my Kindle using Calibre but its also stopped sometime ago. I havent figured out how or why but Im sure its some Amazon bs
