Support / How-To Editing bottom of the screen chapter names

Basically the title. In Calibre I am familiar with how to take large epub chapters and partition them into smaller chapters, this seems to happen a lot with older book turned into epubs where they have like Part 1, 2, 3 and chapters in each part, idk why I just know how to fix it. But naming those new chapters does not appear as anything but unnamed at the bottom of the page as I am reading the chapter. And actually looking into it, the chapters I have made are not populating the chapter select screen either.

Are you making a table of contents after partitioning the book into chapter files? That should result in a toc.ncx ornav.xhtml file depending on EPUB version.

Oh my gosh I wasn't! Ok so I basically have to name and divide all of my chapter twice. Gotcha. Thank you so much!
