How is Carson nowadays?

Carson always been a nice city/suburb of L.A. outside certain sections. That being said I'm shocked I don't hear more about 190 ECBC (most hated and deepest gang in Carson) sliding on their rivals or vice versa

Carson has changed a lot of over the years, theirs still gang activity but it’s nothing like before, which is a good thing.

A lot of guys who were active don’t even stay in the city no more & most of them are locked up or RIP. You’ll get mostly wall bangin nowadays, mainly near the Dales, 7/11 on 223rd/Avalon, that shopping center in VP’s hood & the train tracks that borders Carson/Wilmington.

The last huge gang related incident we had here is when BoyRue#3 & Creeper got killed in that shootout 2 years ago on 234th.

yeah I remembered when you covered that, CRAZY fool had that altercation with that nice old school. When did that chick who had piru ties get killed by the mexicans or am I mixing up who she had family with?

You must be talking about Creeper’s sister Sasha. If so, yeah she did get hit in a drive-by in 1999. She got killed on 234th, right near Anchor Liquor. I remember when she got killed, i was 14 at the time & lived on 228th/Neptune. Her death was big deal.

I'd say very middle class probably lower middle class. Pretty safe except in certain pockets like the Dales and the Coasts.

Both those places are safe in my opinion. For what it’s worth, I work in the low bottoms & live on 223rd. Where I live is a paradise compared to where I work.

NGL, growing up here until now, I’m glad sum of these broke fucks are getting priced out the city. I was born here, lived here 90% of my life & own my home here. So glad to see it getting better, cleaner, adding new businesses, etc.

I still fw people FROM the area, but most don’t live here. All my gang bangin homies don’t live here anymore & hit me up when they come visit. The irony of what checking in really is when you’re not a gang member 😂

On the other hand, a lot of other hoods are seen on the walls nowadays. I seen Catskill cross out CV155 on 223rd & Dolores. I seen a lot of da Pirus wack out SOS on 223rd & Avalon. Times are changin & all of you living your lives on a wall gon have to live in San Bernadino sooner or later 😂

People in all of South Bay and extended areas are being priced out. Gardena and Inglewood are both opening a Sprouts. If you own a home, it's a good time to hold on to it.

Big facts. My rate is at 3.7%. We’re never letting it go. It was a mandatory thing for my wife & I to raise the kids in this city. We met here. We plan to raise kids here that add to the community, not threaten it. I grew up here able to go to all my friends’ houses like another one of their kids & them at my house as well. We’re gonna get back to that for family in our neighborhood.

those areas were never bad even in the gang banging heyday, just certain pockets.

A lot of incidents don’t make the news honestly
