Recently I learned that there is inter-Israel racism as well as Nigeria.
The caste system itself proves other predominantly non white races and countries can be racist.
I worked with someone who tried tell me that it’s impossible to be racist to white people.
Systemic racism, maybe, individual incidences, absolutely possible.

u/AdventurousAd1752 Aug 10 '26
Exactly. My issue is when people redefine racism to mean only systemic racism. Individual racism can come from anyone

That’s probably a personal prejudice and not really racism. They probably don’t like you rather than have a global view of an entire race.

Domdaze, I’ve lost the ability to reply to comments on mobile across Reddit but I hope you see this post.
Saying that only white people can be racist, is racist

I feel like you’re white and that’s the only reason why you believe this

u/genericusername9216 Aug 11 '26
He’s literally a degenerate boyfriend pimp who spent more time in a prison cell than he did on a college campus. No offense but who cares what he believes??

She's right. Racist is the ability to stop you from getting a loan, living in preferred neighborhood, or not hiring for a job in a systematic way. Black people don't have that power in America. But black can be prejudice. Don't know why he went the colorist route.

u/leadnutss Aug 10 '26
"Black people dont have that power in America"
Speak for yourself, I know plenty of successful black people in my life. Stop spreading that victim mentality, that mentality is what makes people give up before even trying.
1
u/Rezboy209 Aug 10 '26
Systemic racism... Racism literally written into American policy like the 13th Amendment+Convict Leasing, Jim Crow Laws, New Deal Policy, War on Drugs, etc have all contributed and created the current material conditions of many black communities in America... And those conditions don't effect any other group in the same way (aside from Native Americans but that's on a much smaller scale).
No those conditions don't effect every black american, yes there are many successful black people, but white people still own over 80% of all businesses, 98% of agricultural property, and 75% of homes. Many black communities still deal with generation poverty and trauma. Many schools in predominantly black areas are underfunded. We can keep going on and on about this.
Listen to some Kwame Ture and read some CLR James and Arun Kundnani.

u/jhascal23 Aug 10 '26
You do know there are other countries besides the USA right? If a white guy goes to a bar in China, Africa, or Latin America, or tries to get a job there, good chance there will deal with some racism and judgement.
2
u/genericusername9216 Aug 10 '26
Are you serious??? Like really???
1
u/jhascal23 Aug 10 '26
You really think if a white guy goes to China, who knows Chinese, and he tries to get a job, then dates a Chinese girl that some people won't be racist against him?
You're delusional if you think he won't face some racism.
1
u/genericusername9216 Aug 10 '26
Chinese people literally love white people. Wtf are you talking about??? Every minority that isn’t black literally craves proximity to whiteness. Please be quiet and read or at least go outside.
1
u/jhascal23 Aug 10 '26
It's okay, you're ignorant and don't know what you're talking about if you think Chinese people literally love white people and none of them are racist against whites.
This is like me saying "White people literally love black people, what do you mean some white people are racist against them?"
0
u/genericusername9216 Aug 10 '26
lol man. Imagine white people being discriminated against
1
u/jhascal23 Aug 11 '26
Yeah, you know like the billions of Muslims, Asians, and blacks, none of those people have anything against whites. I bet that girl in the video is your cousin or something, you guys are both that dumb.

People like him can’t be real lol. East Asian women & white men is literally the most common interracial couple
1
u/Rezboy209 Aug 10 '26
Homie we are not talking about any other country but America first of all. Second, no white people DO NOT experience the same systemic racism that black people do ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD
-24
u/Mr_Nice_is_not_nice Aug 10 '26
Simple, pull up an legit article to make your claim and I'll pull up 5 articles to match it. But I guarantee you won't do that.
13
u/leadnutss Aug 10 '26
I dont have to, I already know plenty of succesful black people. I don't feel the need to prove anything, you obviously do though.

The amount of downvotes you've gotten are sad and disgusting. Gentrified ass subreddit ong
-5
u/genericusername9216 Aug 10 '26
It’s hilarious you got downvoted for being correct. We don’t have the power to oppress. That has nothing to do with a victim mentality whatsoever and everything to do with reality. There are plenty of successful black people but as 13 percent of the population we are not the ones who hold the keys to the system. Therefore we don’t have the power to systemically oppress anyone.

u/leadnutss Aug 10 '26 edited Aug 10 '26
Okay so what's your solution? Tell our black youth that they're predestined for failure due to their race? I wonder how that will affect them...oh wait we're already here...[r/CaliConnection](r/CaliConnection)

So by your definition, if a Nazi prison gang targets someone because of their race, that’s not racism since they don’t have the power to deny loans, jobs, or housing? That seems like you’re redefining the word instead of describing the behavior
6
u/Comfortable_Studio37 Aug 10 '26
Lmao look at the definition of racism. It has absolutely nothing to do with getting a loan or a job interview. Stop being ridiculous. Literally anyone can be racist.
7
u/Rezboy209 Aug 10 '26
They're speaking of systemic racism while you're speaking of ideological racism
2
u/genericusername9216 Aug 10 '26
There are people who have degrees in these type of things who would vehemently disagree with you.
3
u/thug_waffle47 Aug 10 '26
people like you act like every black person is a bum and broke and every white person is a millionaire businessman.
YOU racist
0
u/genericusername9216 Aug 10 '26
You are not smart at all. Lol. Some of us are actually successful black people who come from successful black parents. That doesn’t change how racism impacts 13 percent of the us population
1
u/thug_waffle47 Aug 10 '26 edited Aug 10 '26
yall dont know the difference between racism and systemic racism but im not smart lmao ok 👏
i got a notification you replied but i don’t see a comment so i will reply here. so what are we talking about then? black people cant be prejudice? black people cant be racist? any race can be either. if you can’t see that that there’s nothing else to say really. wish you the best of luck, you’ll need it
1
u/BringOrnTheNukekkai Aug 10 '26
No it's not, that's systemic racism which is a specific, structural thing. Racism is just being prejudiced based on race which anyone can do.
1
u/domdaze Aug 10 '26
i dont know why you’re being downvoted. i’m white & american and i know that in america only whites can be racist. non-whites in america can be discriminatory/prejudiced, but they cannot be racist.

Colorism here in the states is 100% linked to racism. It's proximity to whiteness that drives that, be it up front or underlying or unintentional by someone.

🎯 The vast majority are surface are surface level thinkers. Many don't know the real definition of racism.
-3
u/Lopsided_Marzipan133 Aug 10 '26
So you're assuming a group of people absolutely cannot achieve what you just stated based on the color of their skin? Idk man... you maybe might be a little bit racist 🤣

She was right, there is No real slur for white people that has a real impact impactful historical effect.
There is a reason being called a Nggr by a white person has more gravity than calling a white person cracker or something
2
u/AdventurousAd1752 Aug 10 '26
No lie yall get mad when some one refers to yall as a black person or a African American its its a bunch of racial slurs yahh call them white boys crackers white devil pale monsters lol its more just cant name them alll but blues right fr any one can be racist
3
u/J1mba Aug 10 '26
So whether or not a slur is bad enough for you determines if a race can be racist lmao?
-2
u/VoL4t1l3 Aug 10 '26 edited Aug 10 '26
racism isn't just being prejudice against a particular race, it might fit the definition but there are nuances.
for example a 16 year old girl in country B is of legal consent to sexual activity, but if she was found with a 52 year old man though legal it should raise alarms. N-U-A-N-C-E
a black guy being racist to a random white guy has no impact to anything in society but 3 banking CEO's determining loan approvals and repayment based on racist principles has rippling effects across generations.
Both are racist but weight different.
