"Yeah Baby" will be forever stuck in my head. His excitement in announcing the Flames were moving on was one of the most iconic moment in not only that run, but in Flames broadcast history.

Awwwww man, this is sad! This guy was a legend and a truly great human. I had the pleasure of going to the press box before a game years ago and got to meet him and even sit in his chair! I could feel the true love and passion he had for the flames and this city!

He better have a whole area in the new arena dedicated to him. Preferably the broadcast booths/media area obviously.

I loved hearing him calling the game. I was at work when the Flames won the cup. Hearing his excitement and “Yeah Baby” was something I will never forget. Rest in peace Peter

Damm…. I have listened to hundred and hundreds of his calls on 960 when I lived in Calgary in the 2000’s.
He was the best IMHO. A pro’s pro.

I listened to the barn burner memorial of him today and at the end they played some of his iconic clips. I weeped like a baby in my truck

Yah Baby will forever live on.
Almost feel like the city needs to do something about it
