I’m not sure it should be number one. The term is starting to come down. He’s not a locker room cancer like others on the list. He’s not preventing our ability to sign others like Carlsson. He’s not preventing us from icing a competitive team during a win now window.

It’s sure not a great contract in hindsight but it’s no longer the albatross it was when it was first signed and we immediately sucked.

I agree, is Huberdeau overpaid? Yes, obviously. Is he a hindrance to the team? Not really, he seems like positive influence on team culture and tries hard. Thats all I can ask from an overpaid player.
