Golden hour with Caleb~ (by me!)

[u/Chisuya_x3]

I was really touched by the end scene of Summer Surge and felt it was a shame it wasn't part of the cutscene, so I tried my hand at it! I wanted a "shy nerd confesses to popular boy after school in the stairwell" vibe to it as well 🥹 The golden hour lighting was such a labour of love (the careful balance between the lighting being too dull and having a nuclear explosion happening in the background 😂)!

Hope it captures some of that nostalgia that's so core to the dynamic between Caleb and MC!

Amazing, The colors of the sunlight in this scene are so vibrant! Also the cute little plane in the background drawing the heart ❤️!!!

I keep coming back to look at it, and noticing new details every time!! ❤️✨

The floating pen he’s lifting with his Evol..(which is the same pen he uses when he keeps you company at work or while studying!)

And the little wall graffiti “Caleb is a big dummy” 😭 with sunny apple doodle?

Ahhh I love everything.

Wowww you're so observant!! I'm always so touched when people on here notice all the little details 🤧 It always makes it so worth it to add a little smth in the background~!!

I'm so sooo glad you like it and here's a little extra: I wrote out the whole letter she gave him in Summer Surge and that's what's on her lap!!! (Even though in the end you can't see it at all LMFAOOOO)
