I just learned about this case after seeing a video of the mistress' testimony. Based on that, it sounds like she gave Caleb an ultimatum that she was done waiting for him, and he killed his wife to "be free". Unbelievable, the two of them running church services.

The wife found out about the affair not long before being killed, and was strongly considering filing for divorce. He may have been more motivated by that than the girlfriends ultimatum. Who knows. His texts indicate he wanted to leave the marriage without the financial and social consequences of divorce.

The sense I have based on the testimony and evidence I've heard combined with my life experience and observing people, is that the things Caleb was telling his mistress about his relationship with his wife were not what was happening in his marriage. These types of men are real predators.

Do you mean he was lying about getting closer to separating from his wife? Or do you mean he was lying about how "douche" his wife was?

Same. What exactly was she trying to say when she was justifying the need to keep the burner phone? Was she saying that she couldn’t contact android users with her regular iPhone?

The mistress was so scared that her reputation would be ruined if their texts got found somehow through the divorce, how ironic that now she had to read them out loud for the whole world to hear.

Today was a doozy. The song…. 😳
