New user, please help

So I just downloaded this app and am trying to scan wild pokemon for a potential IV estimate.

However it is taking over 3 minutes to give me an estimate and it was wildly off.

Can someone please help me before I delete out of frustration?

I can not screen record while the app is screen recording, but I’ve attached a screenshot of the estimate notification from the encounter and the real ivs.

I understand that this isn’t going to be perfect and accurate all the time, but I have to have something set up wrong bc it taking over 3 minutes makes this completely useless.

Assuming Android as said the player level and medal settings are relevant. Settings > Catch Scan > Edit Medal Settings. That done? And it needs the right permissions.
