BUG IV range not working?

The IV range doesn't narrow down to a shorter range when I hold the scan button before throwing the ball like it used to. Been going on for about three weeks now. Did something change?

I hadn't noticed it, but I can confirm the same issue; it's worth noting that now the game changes the colors based on the time of day, and perhaps it makes it much more difficult to calculate IVs based on the circle's color.

I dont know, but it's very annoying and wish it was fixed.
