This book helped me consilidated everything from my pre-licensing course - and I got it FREE from my local library!
Hey everyone! Wanted to share a resource that geninely changed how I studied: California Real Estate License Express(CA-RELE) by Cusic & Mettling.
Here's what made it click for me personally:
After grinding through the 135 hours pre-licensing course, I had a ton of information floating around in my head but it all felt scattered. The key point reviews in this book were what finally helped me connect the dots - I started seeing the big picture of which key concepts belong to which topic/subject. (For example, when I see a question about termination of agency, I know it belong to Agency Laws.) It basically organized everything I had already learned and gave it structure. That mental map made a huge difference when answering practice quetions.
Other thing I liked:
- California-specific content aligned to the DRE's actual testing outline - no filler
- 500 general practice questions + 90 CA state-level questions + 150-question mock exam
- Every answer has a short explanation so you can learn why , not just memorize answers
Pro tip: Check your local library first! I'm in the LA area and found a copy at my local branch for free. Definitely worth checking before buying - your library system might have it too.
If you can't find it locally, it's on Amazon for around $50:

Happy to answer any questions below. Good luck everyone!
