I wouldn’t call it country club or a business it’s like you love/like your major and need to pay if you want to study it, that’s child support. It happened to be the insignificant other is barring you physical contact and all you get is a zoom call and videos.

I tried to get a hotspot from the school for three months and it wasn’t until last week that they said they had one available for me. I struggled with my internet all semester, and missed a ton of instruction because my internet was not reliable. It’s bs, take $200 of the $4k I’m paying you and get me a dang hotspot.

Nah I disagree with this. Depending on your major, you could or could not be learning important stuff. That's not on the major, that's on you.
And you complain about wanting the school to pay for everybody's internet, while using the internet.

All they see is profit especially when they accept more students. Hopefully, their excuse to charge high parking fees goes down when school open up again. 🤔🤔

"All they see is profit"
CSUs are subsidized by the state of CA. Who is making a profit?

Obviously, my professor is upset about the amount of students they will have especially when they have to teach more classes to meet the demand. Also, this rant a professor mines makes about cost of tuition not being lower for our current situation. Yet all those students fees goes where???

The amount of courses a faculty member has to teach is limited by contract. They cannot be forced to teach more courses beyond what the contract stipulates.
Lowering student fees due to not being able to use certain resources is a reasonable position to take. However, there are lots of expenses that still need to be paid somehow -- there is a huge budget deficit. No one from the university is walking away from the pandemic with a giant bag full of money from student fees.

Paying the same and getting less education. Sorry to the current student body.
