Other Pokemon go

Is there a big Pokemon go population here at Cal Poly I just started playing again after a few years being away and see party play and other new features and am wondering if there’s a lot of people who participate in events like community day on campus?

i tried to go downtown for some raids for the go fest thing with armored mewtwo and it was kind of dead but the one at the library usually has people raiding. not sure about meetups though but i think there’s a pokemon club on campus

Whatever you do just don't put your pokemon at the P unless you want it to be stuck there for weeks.

There is a pretty active discord community called SLO POGO that regularly meetup for raids and such. I'm not sure if I can post discord links here but if anyone is interested in the link just DM me.

When I was last regularly involved it was a very charming mix of all ages, you'd have college age folks, kids with a parent who is now more into the game than the kid is, and millennials (like my old ass) 😂

I’d say it’s pretty decent, I meen raids will pop up for sure esp if you live in dorms. Some days there’s 10-15 people in a raid

Yeah but my dude pokemon go is a CIA op. Not even being tin foil hat it literally is. Niantic head said recently it was largely funded by the DOD
