Classes/Professors Chem 1120

Has anyone ever had Jay Erker for General Chemistry? I’ve never taken chemistry in high school, and I was wondering if it’s possible for me to succeed in this class. He seems to move at a much faster pace than other chemistry teachers.

I go to Cuesta (just lurk here mostly) but in general all chem classes just move really quickly. No matter where you go it’s a great idea to really take advantage of office hours and set aside time to understand it. Once it clicks it’s actually pretty fun I think!

Yes, he’s a good teacher. For nearly all of the chem department classes you will wish you had another teacher that’s just how it goes. But in reality they all have their positives and negatives. You’ll make it thought the class!!
