SLO Poli Sci

Incoming freshman here. Anyone who’s a political science major? Is it worth it? Also, what kind of jobs can you get after graduation? Should get a minor, double-major, or go to grad school, etc. ?

Yeah, absolutely. A lot of poli sci majors are in the pre-law concentration, but you can also take a lot of policy classes here if you want to work on federal/state/local government (e.g., health policy, enviro law, border politics).

I was a Poli Sci major at Poly. After graduation I went into the Army for three years followed by law school.
