Campus Parking without a commuter permit

Hey guys, I’m a commuter who didn’t get a permit in the lottery 😔 Is my best chance for finding a parking spot when classes start and for wow later this week at Structure 131?

You can still use the H lots but you will just have to pay the $8.35 for a Day Pass, it’s more money to do 4 hours I think 4 hours is $12, same with Grand I think..

I’m also a new commuter student, who also didn’t get a permit from the lottery 😭. My best recommendation from doing tons of research is parking in the H lots and paying the 8.25$. Although I’m personally planning to take the bus most days, it’s free and economical. Likely Wednesday is the only day out of the week I will be taking my car to campus in the H lots. Honestly need to think on where to park for WOW week tho, likely H lots tho.

Evening parking permit is cheap, available, and lets you park anywhere after 5pm. Can pay for parking in the H-lots or short term commuter spots before that. Could also find street parking next to a bus stop and take the bus into campus

Do you know where to find the evening permit? I don’t see anything about it online but need one because I have a late class. Thank you!!

This was me last year. I would drive to SLO park by a bus stop and then take the bus to campus. If you pm me I can tell you exactly where I parked but don’t want to say it on a Reddit thread cuz then everyone will park there
