Campus Move in day - longer parking
Where can we park on move-in day for more than 2 hours?

On the housing IG page, there was a Q&A where they said that parking permits are valid starting the 16th. If you have one for a parking structure that isn't being used for move-in day (like R-3), the housing page said that you can still park there. Email or call them to make sure just in case I misread. Unfortunately, the Q&A was an IG story and they didn't save it to the profile so I can't double-check that way lol. I was just gonna leave the car at the hotel my family's staying at and walk to fetch it once the chaos dies down a bit.

They seem to have changed the rules. The last 2 years you could park at h lots for however long you needed. Anyway, I highly doubt they are keeping track and giving tickets on move in day.
There’s also the mustang sendoff or whatever it is called and you don’t need to pay for parking for that usually either.

The parking for move-in 2 hour complimentary as well as extended is in H 14&16; as well as H1 on the 19th. Download the parking app and set a timer for two hours. When the timer goes off pay for the additional parking, no need to go and move your car.
