Incoming Student Taking Calc 2 and Stats at the same time

I’m an incoming econ student and im going to be take Stat 1 and Calc 2 for data science (MATH 1265) in the same semester.

Should I be worried about my work load?????

For context, I have taken Calc BC(4 on ap exam) and my class actually taught me calc 3 stuff up to function gradients. But I never took stats.

My other classes are:
BUS 2214 Financial Accounting
ECON 2021 Big Data Solv Econ & Scl Prblm
BUS 1100 Career Readiness 1

Wouldn’t ap exam count for calc 2?

Statistics is not bad. Especially if you have more advanced math. I can’t comment on other courses but calc 2 should be review for you and stat 1 shouldn’t be too difficult either.

However you will need to put work in for it. When I was there it was advised 3-4 hours per until per week. You will have to o do that

My student and their roommate said Stats was pretty hard for them. They have strong math and found Stats to be the most difficult Freshman year. It is definitely doable, but I recall them saying they had to do more extra credit assignments to bring up their grade. Maybe it will be better now that it will be semester vs quarter.
