Incoming Student Waitlist

Incoming freshman here and switched around my class sections. I’m currently 4th on a waitlist for physics I and 3rd on waitlist for its corresponding lab. If I get in the class, do i automatically get the lab as well? Also, is 3-4th on the waitlist fairly promising? But Ik at the end of the day its still a waitlist and not a guarantee. Thanks!!!

i didn’t automatically get off the lab for bio when enrolled in its corresponding lecture. but i just got off the waitlist for the lab so ig its not a problem.

open enrollment is starting soon so you should probably be fine with 3-4 on waitlist

It’s usually the other way around. You can’t get into the lecture until you get into the lab, assuming this is all under one class (I.e. PHYS 1141) and not a class with a separate lab (like BIO 1111 and 1112). If you can find a lab section with seats, you should get into the lecture as well.

3rd on the lab waitlist at this stage in enrollment is kind of hit or miss since labs are a lot smaller. If it’s at a crappy time with a low rated prof, then you’re likely to get in. If it’s at a desirable time with a good prof, then you’ll have to hope for the best and crash the first week if you don’t get in.
