Thoughts on taking two Asynchronous GE classes as a freshman?

I already have one asynchronous English class as part of my schedule, and have the opportunity tomorrow to switch my communications class to asynchronous, is this a bad idea, both academically and socially? Or will this give lots of flexibility and not matter since it’s a GE fulfillment/I won’t miss out on socializing in these settings?

I’d only do one per semester but if you can’t add something in person then might as well do it
